my 2025 no buy list

1. i buy way too many hair tools and do not use them or i end up buying duplicates because i forgot i had one already 😅

2. i have so many heels it’s crazy and the craziest thing is i don’t even wear them. i really just buy them because they’re cute, i have to stop that

3. oh my gosh i have too many black leggings, like it’s getting crazy at this point

4. i literally have a wall full of posters and even more posters in storage that i have yet to hang up. i definitely don’t need any more no time soon

5. i have way too many video games on my xbox and playstation that i don’t even play anymore or only played once 😭

... Read moreEmbarking on a no buy journey can be transformative, helping you prioritize your spending and declutter your life. Many individuals find themselves in similar situations with items they've purchased but seldom use, leading to an excess of unnecessary possessions. Tools like hair styling gadgets are often bought in the heat of the moment, only to gather dust on a shelf. High heels, while stylish, might be delightful to own yet rarely worn, becoming a significant part of a closet that just takes up space. Black leggings, despite being a wardrobe staple, can accumulate unrecognized if we're unaware of what we already have. Posters can fill walls beautifully but often end up in storage, with new acquisitions simply adding to the clutter. In the digital realm, video games can entice with their shiny covers, but how often do we revisit past titles? Choosing to limit purchases in these areas allows for financial savings, reduced stress, and a more intentional approach to consumption. Documenting your own no buy goals could inspire others to reflect on their buying habits, creating a community focused on mindful consumerism. How about starting your own no buy list? What will be on it?
