3 Things You Didn't Know You Can Wash in Your Dish

I bet these are 3 things you didn't know you could put in your dishwasher.

1 . Sink bits and parts. We have a garbage disposal part that makes it go and it can get dirty and stinky. I love putting that in the dishwasher for a clean rinse, as well as our strainer that catches food.

2. Sponges!! When they start to smell, I wash them a few times to make them last longer before replacing.

3. Hats!! Most people think this is crazy, but I love doing it. When they get dirty, oily, sweat stained or have an odor, I like to wash them. However the laundry can affect the shape, so I put them in the dishwasher. It does a perfect job. But I ONLY wash them with other hats. I don't wash them with dirty dishes or food scraps.

What do you like to put in the dishwasher?

I've always thought of the dishwasher as just a place for plates and cutlery, right? But recently, I've been experimenting, and it's kind of mind-blowing what you can actually toss in there. For instance, that microwave plate that's always covered in splatters? Comes out sparkling.
