What I did when my apartment had 0 natural light

My last apartment had no windows or natural light in most of the rooms, including my bedroom. It was very depressing when I first moved in, but I learned so much about how to style an apartment without natural light.

First and foremost I invested in the Hatch Alarm clock. To me, it was worth EVERY penny, I got mine on Amazon. It helped wake me up gently and mimic natural light. Without it, I don't think I'd have known the difference between night and day!!! It helps keep your circadian rhythm in alignment.

Second, I added so many light features, ceiling and standing, to brighten up the space.

Lastly, I added lots of mirrors. I found that they brightened up the place, made it feel bigger, and the reflections helped mimic rays of sunlight.

I couldn't have survived without those 3 tricks!
