ถ้าใครกำลังหาว่า “ร้านอาหารท่าเตียน” ที่ราคาไม่แรงแต่รสชาติดี เราว่า Home Cafe Tha Tien (โฮมคาเฟ่ ท่าเตียน) เป็นตัวเลือกที่เหมาะมาก โดยเฉพาะวันที่ร้านดังๆ แถวนี้เต็ม หรืออยากได้ร้านนั่งสบายๆ แบบไม่ต้องคิดเยอะ ร้านอยู่ซอยท่าเตียน 10 เดินไม่ยาก และโซนนี้มีทั้งนักท่องเที่ยวกับคนทำงานแถวๆ นั้น เลยทำให้เมนูของร้านมีความ “ไทยกินง่าย แต่รสชาติออกครีมมี่” นิดๆ เหมือนปรับให้ถูกปากหลายชาติ สิ่งที่เราชอบคือราคาเมนูหลักค่อนข้างเป็นมิตรกับย่านนี้ เห็นป้ายราคาชัดๆ เลยว่าหลายเมนูอยู่ที่ 85 บาท เช่น พะแนงหมู / ข้าวหมูทอด / ปีกไก่ทอด ถือว่าเป็น “ร้านอาหารท่าเตียน อร่อย ราคาถูก” ที่หาได้ไม่ง่ายนัก ส่วนสายกุ้งต้องลองข้าวกุ้งผัดผงกระหรี่ (ประมาณ 100 บาท) กุ้งตัวใหญ่ ได้หลายตัว กินกับข้าวสวยแล้วอยู่ท้องมาก ใครที่เสิร์ชหา home cafe tha tien menu แล้วลังเลว่าจะสั่งอะไรดี เราแนะนำจัดเป็นเซ็ตแบบแชร์กันจะสนุกสุด: เริ่มด้วยพะแนงหมูที่มีความหอมเครื่องแกงและครีมมี่ กินกับข้าวร้อนๆ แล้วตามด้วยหมูทอดที่กรอบนอกฉ่ำใน (ไม่อมน้ำมัน) ปิดด้วยปีกไก่ทอดที่เสิร์ฟร้อนๆ หนังกรอบกำลังดี ถ้ามาหลายคน เมนูทอดๆ จะช่วยบาลานซ์กับเมนูแกงได้ดีมาก เรื่องเครื่องดื่ม ถ้าถามแบบตรงๆ ชามะนาว/ชาดำเย็นจะออกแนวรสชาติทั่วไป เหมาะสั่งแก้เผ็ดหรือกินคู่ของทอดมากกว่า ถ้าอยากเน้นความคุ้ม เราว่าเอางบไปลงกับอาหารจานหลักจะฟินกว่า ทริคเล็กๆ เวลาไปกินแถวท่าเตียน: ถ้าไปช่วงเย็นคนจะเยอะเป็นพิเศษ ลองไปเร็วขึ้นนิดหรือเลี่ยงช่วงพีค จะได้ไม่ต้องรอนาน และอย่าลืมสั่งแบบแบ่งกันหลายจาน เพราะแต่ละเมนูรสชาติต่างกันชัด ทำให้มื้อนี้สนุกกว่าสั่งจานเดียวมากๆ
