Creamy & Spicy Kimchi Pasta
Made this tonight for me and my boyfriend and it was delicious!! I absolutely love kimchi and wanted to incorporate into pasta. This is spicy, tangy, and super creamy.
Ingredients:
• Kimchi, chopped
• White onion, diced
• Pasta
• Gochujang paste or sauce
• Heavy cream
• Garlic, minced
Directions:
1. Prepare pasta according to instructions on box.
2. Cook white onion over medium heat. I used about 1/4 of a whole onion.
3. Once onion turns translucent, add minced garlic.
3. Cut kimchi into small pieces (I used kitchen scissors to do this). Add kimchi to the pan and cook.
4. Add heavy cream and a little bit of Gochujang. Gently mix.
5. Add pasta and mix. Serve with green onions and a little Parmesan/moz blend cheese. Enjoy!

Hey foodies! I wanted to share a little more about my absolute favorite fusion dish that's become a staple in my kitchen: this incredible spicy creamy kimchi pasta. If you're anything like me, you probably adore both rich, comforting pasta dishes and the vibrant, bold flavors of Korean cuisine. This recipe perfectly marries the two, creating a "spicy gochujang kimchi pasta" that’s unbelievably easy and satisfying. What I love most about this "creamy Korean chili paste pasta" is how quickly it comes together, making it ideal for a weeknight dinner when you're craving something special but don't have hours to spend cooking. The magic really happens with the combination of fermented kimchi and the savory heat of gochujang. When you sauté the "diced white onions" and then add in the "chopped kimchi," you're building a foundation of flavor that's both tangy and savory. I usually let the kimchi cook down a bit to soften and release its juices, which adds an incredible depth to the "creamy orange sauce" we're aiming for. Speaking of creaminess, the heavy cream is key to transforming this dish from just spicy noodles into a truly luxurious experience. It mellows the heat from the "Gochujang paste or sauce" while binding all the flavors together beautifully. For those of you who searched for "spicy creamy gochujang noodles with egg," you could definitely whisk an egg yolk into the sauce at the very end (off the heat!) for an even richer, carbonara-like finish, though I typically enjoy it as is. After the "cooked spaghetti pasta" is tossed in, every strand gets coated in that delightful sauce, creating a perfect bite every time. The images of the "finished spicy, creamy, and tangy kimchi pasta" really capture how tempting it looks! Don't be afraid to adjust the spice level to your liking! I tend to be quite generous with my "Gochujang paste or sauce" because I love the kick, but you can always start with a smaller amount and add more as you taste. If you're looking for an even creamier texture, a splash of pasta water can help emulsify the sauce and make it extra silky. This dish is also incredibly versatile. While I usually stick to spaghetti, you could absolutely use other types of pasta or even ramen noodles for a true "spicy Korean fusion pasta bowl" experience. To make it a more complete meal, consider adding some cooked chicken, shrimp, or even pan-fried tofu cubes right before serving. A sprinkle of fresh green onions and a generous dusting of Parmesan or a mozzarella blend are non-negotiable for me – they add freshness and another layer of savory goodness. Trust me, once you try this "creamy kimchi spaghetti," it'll be on your regular rotation! It's such a comforting and flavorful meal, perfect for any day.
