Minamiizu 【 Neverland of Seafood and Meat 】 Shimoda Juraku Hotel✨
I wanted to do sightseeing while camping, so when I went to Izu and Yamanashi area, I was interested in this place for quite a while.
Especially my daughter loves buffet, there are few places with fresh seafood, but there are many kinds

Well, although it is an impression, the facility itself of the inn has many places that make you feel Showa, and it was a comfortable space without being careful on the contrary
The sea and sunset seen from the room were insanely beautiful and I was looking at it all the time like camping
Meals are as shown in the video (I took it roughly, please see other travel accounts for details) Sushi, sashimi, shellfish, crab, meat and so on, and there was a long line at the start time

「下田聚楽ホテル（下田 聚楽）」って検索すると、ビュッフェ目当ての口コミが多いのも納得でした。私が行って感じたのは、“海鮮とお肉のネバーランド”って言いたくなるくらい、食事の満足度が強いホテルだということ。ちなみに誤字で「下田偕楽ホテル」と出てくることもありますが、探すときは「下田聚楽ホテル」で調べるのが確実です。 まず滞在で印象に残ったのが、部屋からの景色。海が近くて、夕方は夕陽がすごくきれいに見えました。観光やキャンプの前後に泊まると、移動で疲れてても“景色を眺めるだけで回復する時間”が作れるのが良かったです。館内は最新ホテルのピカピカ感とは違って、ところどころ昭和っぽさもあるのですが、逆に気を張らずに過ごせる雰囲気でした。 お目当てのビュッフェは、開始直後が一番混みやすいです。体感としては最初の10分くらいがピークで、特に刺身・寿司など「まず海鮮を確保したい人」が集中しがち。もし並ぶのが苦手なら、最初はサラダや温かい料理、デザート系を取りに行って、列が落ち着いた頃に海鮮へ回るのもアリだと思いました。とはいえ、海鮮の種類がしっかりあるので、時間をずらしても“無くて食べられない”感じは少なかったです。 蟹好きの人は要注意で、気づくと蟹だけで満腹になります（笑）。家族で行くなら「蟹担当」「刺身担当」みたいに分散して取りに行くと、テーブルが一気に充実してテンション上がります。お肉系もあるので、海鮮が得意じゃない人がいても楽しみやすいのが助かりました。 最後に、下田聚楽ホテルは人気で予約が埋まりやすい印象です。週末や連休は早めにチェックして、取れたらラッキーくらいの気持ちで動くのが良さそう。海・夕陽・ビュッフェをまとめて楽しみたい人には、かなり刺さる宿でした。
