June through August brings the guaranteed sunshine and festival vibes we crave, but also those eye-watering prices and crowds that can test even the most patient traveler.

And the truth? With Italy’s Jubilee celebrations this year, it’s going to be even more intense. But if summer’s your best window of travel, don’t stress! You can still have that magical European experience without the overwhelm.

It just takes a little strategizing:

✨ Hit the popular attractions early in the morning

✨ Wander off than the main streets

✨ Follow the local’s schedules

✨ Seek private, unique, experiences vs group tours

✨ Pre-arrange private transfers

✨ Stay in an area just off the tourist track
