Tori-no-ichi, which is held every year in November, is also known as the Great Rooster Festival (Otorisai), and is known for many worshipers visiting. Lucky gifts such as Fuku wallet, Hamaya, rake are also awarded, and it is very crowded with people who wish for business prosperity and family safety!

At Hanazono Shrine, they are called the first rooster, the second rooster, and the third rooster in order, and the day of the rooster is called "Honsai" and the day before is called "Eve Festival," and stalls and show houses are lined up for two consecutive days.
During the period, there are many food stalls along the roads around the shrine, and you can enjoy eating around like a festival.

私が行って「これ知っておくと楽だった！」と思ったポイントを追記します。花園神社の酉の市は、写真で見る以上に“夜が主役”。新宿三丁目駅の出口を出てすぐなのに、鳥居の先だけ急にお祭りの空気に切り替わって、提灯の光が壁みたいに連なる参道は本当に圧巻でした（花園神社 新宿 鳥居 夜で探している人に刺さる景色だと思います）。 ■屋台の回り方（混雑でも楽しむコツ） 屋台は神社周辺の通りにずらっと出るので、まずは参拝→熊手・縁起物→屋台の順にすると流れがスムーズでした。ピーク時間は歩く速度がかなり落ちるので、食べ歩き目的なら「先に買って、端っこで食べる」がおすすめ。広島風お好み焼き系の屋台は調理に時間がかかることもあるので、並ぶなら早めが◎。 ■夜の提灯・ライトアップ撮影のコツ 提灯が明るい分、スマホだと人が黒つぶれしやすかったです。人物も入れたい場合は、提灯を背景にして少しだけ距離を取るか、ナイトモード＋手ブレ防止で撮ると雰囲気が出ました。鳥居付近は立ち止まりにくいので、境内に入ってから端のスペースで撮ると落ち着きます。 ■おみくじ・授与品まわり 花園神社はおみくじも含め授与所周りが混みやすいので、並ぶ前に「御朱印も一緒にいただくか」を決めておくと二度手間になりません。私は切り絵の御朱印が目当てだったので、先にお願いしてからゆっくり屋台へ。酉の市の日は気分が上がって散財しやすいので、熊手やお守りに使う予算も先に決めておくと安心でした。 ■見世物小屋（蛇女）ってどこ？怖い？ 見世物小屋の看板は意外と目に入りやすく、「蛇女」などの文字が大きいので迷いにくいです。雰囲気はレトロなお祭り小屋で、苦手な人は無理しなくてOK。私は“お祭りの文化体験”として眺めるだけでも十分楽しめました。 ■熊手選び（キューピー・招き猫系が可愛い） 熊手は大小さまざまで、可愛い系（キューピーやピンクの招き猫）も多く、写真映えします。持ち帰りやすさ重視なら小さめ、縁起を担ぐなら「今年より少し大きいもの」を選ぶ人もいるみたい。夜は人が多くてじっくり見づらいので、気になるお店は立ち止まる位置を少しずらして眺めると選びやすいです。 行く前に「屋台を楽しみたい」「提灯の夜景を撮りたい」「おみくじや御朱印も欲しい」など目的を決めておくと、混雑日でも満足度が上がりました。私は次はもう少し早い時間から入って、提灯が灯る直前の空の色変化も撮ってみたいです。
