One day trip to JB itinerary (о´∀`о)
hi all~ just wanted to share my experience at JB for the newbies that don’t know what to do at there!♡
we cleared both singapore and malaysia’s custom in an hour’s time (8.30am-9.45am) on a wednesday! Johor Bahru
✧ 1st stop: Nimmies Pastry Cafe
📍Address: 171, Jln Beringin, Taman Melodies, 80250 Johor Bahru, Johor, Malaysia
🍽️ We ordered the Truffled Fries (RM 25), Truffle Mushroom Tagliatelle (RM 27) and Green Pesto Tagliatelle with Fried Chicken Cutlets (RM 38) (*´꒳`*)
- the truffle fries were cold and only had truffle mayo, the truffle mushroom pasta tasted like the truffle mayo sauce and the pesto pasta tasted quite authentic and fresh! i would recommend getting the truffle mushroom pasta and the pastries which i regrettably did not get because we were stuffed (*´∇｀*)
💸 total damage: RM 104.4 including 6% SST and 10% Service Charge 😣
✧ 2nd stop: Jalan Jalan Japan

- there were a variety of things sold there! from shoes, unique plates and bags! most items were less than RM50 but we did not manage to get anything as the items sold weren’t really my style!
✧ 3rd stop: Midvalley Southkey

- there were a lot of stores there like Coach, New Balance and Sephora! so if you are planning to stock up on your skincare or expand your wardrobe, this is the place to go! i even got myself a New Balance 550 as they had colour-ways that are not typically sold in Singapore!
✧ 4th stop: Kedai Dobi Shanghai

- it’s just a 15 minutes walk away from JB City Square! so convenient….🤭
- there are two stories and there were many unique pieces like oversized tees, crochet tops and vintage jewellery! also, there are 3 different thrift shops in the same stretch so do check this shop out if you want to thrift! most items were around or less than RM50 so it’s very affordable!
✧ 5th stop: OFFEE
📍Address: 30, Jalan Dhoby, Bandar Johor Bahru, 80000 Johor Bahru, Johor, Malaysia
- this is my second time visiting OFFEE and it’s 3 minutes walk away from Kedai Dobi Shanghai! it is a very peaceful cafe and is clearly very aesthetically appealing! (о´∀`о) it has an open roof concept designed with quirky art pieces and we loved it!
🍽️ ordered the Grilled Cheese Brioche Toast (RM18), Honey Butter Toast (RM12) and 2 Lemonades (RM11 each)! i would recommend the Honey Butter toast, it is topped with whipped cream, honey and edible flowers! the brioche toast are soft and crunchy so definitely a must-try!
💸 total damage was around RM47 which is very affordable!
