🇭🇰 HONG KONG DESSERT HUNT — TMK dessert!

Hello #Lemon8SG I’ll be sharing some great foood that I tried during my latest hkg trip, and here’s a first post featuring a super awesome dessert store that I went to /TEI MOU KOON Dessert

Loved the mango dessert with beancurd and rice balls (best best best combo ever ❤️❤️) as the mango desserts are their signatures!! Aside to that, the peach gum collagen with almond tea was also great (perfect balance, not sweet, great for some collagen replenishment on the go 🤭)

... Read moreIf you're a dessert enthusiast visiting Hong Kong, Tei Mou Koon Dessert is definitely worth a visit. Beyond the famous mango desserts, they offer a variety of traditional sweet treats that have delighted locals for years. For instance, their sesame almond tea provides a rich and comforting flavor, blending nutty sesame with smooth almond paste — a perfect pick-me-up on a cool day. Another highlight is the mango tofu pudding combined with glutinous rice balls, which offers the perfect balance of textures — soft, silky tofu with chewy, delightful bites. I personally found the peach gum collagen drink to be not only tasty but also refreshing, subtly sweetened and ideal if you're looking for a dessert that supports skin health. For a truly local experience, try the grass jelly desserts or black sesame soup that are traditional favorites and commonly paired with the mango variations. The photo-worthy presentation of each dish makes them Instagram-ready, capturing vibrant colors and inviting textures. If you’re exploring the Tsim Sha Tsui area, this dessert shop is easy to pop into after sightseeing. Also, consider pairing your dessert with some of Hong Kong’s unique bakery treats like Kwan Hong’s cookies to complete your culinary journey. In short, Tei Mou Koon offers a perfect blend of modern dessert innovation with classic Hong Kong flavors. Don’t miss out on trying these delightful treats during your next dessert hunt in the city!
