HENRY NOWAK

18 year old Henry Nowak was brutally murdered by VICKRUM DIGWA on 3rd December 2025.

Digwa’s brother who called 999 saying Digwa had been attacked ‘racially’ this call was made around 23:30 and police arrived 7 minutes later. Bodycam footage was released by Hampshire and Isle of Wight constabulary (with permission of Henry Nowaks family) which showed officers speaking to Digwa while Henry was laying on the ground bleeding out. Henry could be heard REPEATEDLY saying he had been stabbed and could not breathe and in that footage an officer was heard saying ‘I don’t think you have mate’ Henry was KEPT restrained and ARRESTED him despite him telling officers he had been stabbed and could not breathe and Henry became unresponsive in this footage and an ambulance was phoned and began CPR but sadly Henry died.

Digwa was found Guilty of murder and was sentenced for life with a minimum term of 21 years.

Henry Nowak just 18 years of age , first year university student had his life stolen from him because the police treated Henry as the Perpetrator when he was the victim of knife crime and let him bleed out after he pleaded to them he had been stabbed and could not breathe. The officers involved need to be held accountable

Henry’s family have asked to not use Henry’s death to create division or hatred please respect his family’s wishes.
