Should I add anything to my bookshelf
I’ve rearranged these books so many times and it still feels like I’m missing something, but I’m not sure what. Whenever I add something to the shelves other than books it feels cluttered so I remove it and then I feel like it’s missing something. I’ve tried adding little decorative pieces but nothing works.
Do you think I should add stuff other than books or leave it alone? If so what would you add?

Creating a well-decorated bookshelf involves more than just stacking books; it's about showcasing your personality and style. Start by considering the overall theme of your space. If you prefer minimalist decor, choose a few standout items that complement your book collection, such as plants or simple art pieces. For those who love a more eclectic look, combine books with various decorative objects, like framed photos, vintage finds, or artistic sculptures. The key is to ensure that these items are not overwhelming but rather enhance the visual appeal of your bookshelf. Incorporate colors that harmonize with the spines of your books for a cohesive look. For instance, if you have a lot of colorful books, opt for neutral or muted decor pieces. Alternatively, bold statement items can serve as focal points if your books are more uniform in appearance. Don't forget to utilize vertical space. Floating shelves can create more room for decorative items, while adding a layer of interest. Additionally, consider lighting your bookshelf with soft LED strips or a stylish lamp to draw attention to your curated collection. Ultimately, the goal is to create a welcoming space that reflects your interests, whether that’s literature, art, or personal memories. Regularly update your shelf decor to keep it fresh and exciting!
