... Read moreFrom my experience exploring different pore pads, I've realized how crucial it is to choose products that suit your skin type and concerns. For those struggling with oily or combination skin and enlarged pores, exfoliating pads containing AHA and BHA acids can be helpful — but only if they are gentle enough. Some pore pads, like the SWIPE Zero Pore Pads with tea tree extract, caused dryness and irritation on my skin, making the pores appear even more noticeable. This taught me to be cautious about ingredients and to do a patch test before fully committing. On the other hand, I found Korean brands focusing on gentle formulations to be more effective. Pads like QUIA No More Pore Pads stood out by softly removing excess oil and unclogging pores without causing redness or dryness. This made a visible difference in my skin's texture and helped maintain a clean, fresh feel. The COSRX Clear Pads also impressed me with their acne-fighting and pore-clearing properties, especially for those prone to breakouts. Another key insight is that products combining exfoliating acids with soothing ingredients, like niacinamide or toner pads designed for sensitive skin, provide a balanced effect. NEEDLY Daily Toner Pads, for example, helped calm irritation while refining pores, which made them suitable for my sensitive areas. What I took away from trying these various options is that pore pads are not one-size-fits-all. Understanding your skin's sensitivity and needs can prevent unwanted side effects such as dryness, dullness, or even dark spots. Incorporating a gentle, consistent skincare routine with proper hydration and sun protection further enhances results. If you're looking for glowing skin, be mindful of the products' ingredient list and opt for exfoliants that offer gentle, gradual renewal without harsh abrasives. Regular exfoliation with the right pore pads, combined with moisturizing and protection, can significantly improve pore appearance and overall skin health.
