Part 2 What Sold 7/2-7/5!
Here’s part 2 of what sold this past weekend!
I’m so grateful for the consistent sales, and so many of these items came from my death pile. It’s proof that getting those items listed is worth it. I’m going to keep working through my death pile, getting more inventory listed, and getting these items out the door.
If you’ve been putting off listing your death pile, let this be your reminder to keep going. Those items can’t sell if they’re not listed! #reseller #vintage #secondhand #ebay #fyp
As a full-time reseller, I can relate to the challenge of managing a "death pile"—that stack of unloved inventory that seems impossible to sell. Over time, I realized that consistently listing these items, no matter how slow they seem to move, is the key to unlocking hidden profits. For example, items I had stored for months finally gained traction when I revamped my listings with better photos and descriptions. What really works for me is setting small weekly goals to chip away at this pile. Listing just a handful of items daily keeps the workflow manageable and steadily increases my active inventory. Plus, I often discover that some vintage or secondhand pieces, once re-evaluated and researched, are more valuable than I initially thought. Another tip is monitoring trending hashtags and platforms like #reseller, #vintage, and #secondhand communities. Engaging with these helps me stay motivated and spot what buyers are currently looking for. Tools like eBay analytics give insights on pricing and keywords that help my listings appear in more searches. If you’re hesitant about tackling your own death pile, remember that every item listed is a potential sale waiting to happen. Persistence and strategic listing not only move products faster but also refresh your store’s inventory to attract new customers. Keep pushing forward—the payoff is definitely worth it!
