หลายคนที่ค้นหา “ไม่สนว่าเก่งมาจากไหน” น่าจะอยากรู้ว่าเล่มนี้คุ้มไหม อ่านยากหรือเปล่า และได้อะไรกลับมาจริงๆ (รวมถึงคนที่ตามหาว่าเป็น “หนังสือ พิธา/หนังสือที่พิธาอ่าน” แนวไหน) เราอ่านแล้วรู้สึกว่าโทนมันเป็นบันทึกประสบการณ์แบบเล่าเรื่องมากกว่าสายวิชาการหนักๆ คืออ่านง่าย ไหลลื่น และมีประเด็นให้หยุดคิดเป็นระยะๆ สิ่งที่เราชอบคือโครง “5 คาบเรียน” ทำให้จับแก่นได้ไว โดยเฉพาะคาบที่เล่าบรรยากาศการเรียนแบบถกเถียง (ฮาร์วาร์ด/ MIT) มันทำให้เห็นว่าการตั้งคำถามสำคัญพอๆ กับการท่องจำ แล้วพอโยงกลับมาที่ไทย เราจะเริ่มคิดเองว่า ถ้าห้องเรียนเราส่งเสริมการโต้แย้งอย่างปลอดภัยมากขึ้น สังคมจะรับฟังกันได้ดีขึ้นไหม อีกจุดที่อ่านแล้วติดใจคือบทที่พูดถึงการเดินทางและการมองแต่ละประเทศผ่านเศรษฐกิจ สังคม การเมือง มันไม่ได้บอกว่า “ประเทศนี้ดีสุด” แต่ชวนดูทั้งข้อดี-ข้อเสียและบริบทจริง บางประเทศก็เป็นเผด็จการด้วยซ้ำ อ่านแล้วทำให้เราแยกแยะได้ว่าเวลาเห็นโมเดลต่างประเทศในโซเชียล เราควรถามต่อว่า “เขาทำได้เพราะเงื่อนไขอะไร” ก่อนจะหยิบมาใช้กับบ้านเรา ถ้าถามว่าเล่มนี้เหมาะกับใคร เราว่าเหมาะกับคนที่อยากได้หนังสือให้กำลังใจ + ชวนคิดเรื่องอนาคตประเทศแบบไม่เครียดเกินไป โดยเฉพาะบทที่มอง “ประเทศไทยสีส้ม” และคำถามเรื่องประชาธิปไตย/การเมืองไทย จะไม่ได้มาฟันธง แต่เป็นการโยนคำถามให้เรากลับไปคิดต่อเองมากกว่า ส่วนคนที่สงสัยเรื่องของแถม: เราพรีออร์เดอร์แล้วได้โปสต์การ์ด 1 ใบ (แล้วแต่รอบ/ร้านด้วยนะ) ภาพเล่มจริงเป็นฉบับปรับปรุงใหม่ของ Springbooks มีที่คั่น/การ์ดคำคมที่อ่านแล้วรู้สึกฮึบๆ ดี เหมาะกับสายชอบสะสมของจากหนังสือ สรุปความคุ้มในมุมเรา: ถ้าอยากได้หนังสืออ่านเพลินแต่ไม่ทิ้งประเด็นใหญ่ๆ ทั้งการเรียนรู้ การทำงาน ความสุข ครอบครัว และการมองไทยจากไกลๆ เล่มนี้ตอบโจทย์ และอ่านจบแล้วจะมี “คำถามติดหัว” กลับมาแน่นอน
