🧖🏽‍♀️🧼PM Skincare Layering Routine🫧

🌙 My PM Skincare Routine & Why Order Matters 💧

When it comes to skincare, it’s all about layering from thinnest to thickest — that way, every product can actually do its job ✨

Here’s my nighttime lineup:

1️⃣ Toner – Glow Recipe 🍉

→ Preps the skin + adds hydration so everything after absorbs better!

2️⃣ Serum – Tatcha Brightening 🌸

→ Lightweight + packed with actives — brightens and evens out my tone before locking it all in.

3️⃣ Eye Cream – Tatcha 👁️

→ Targets dark circles and keeps my under eyes hydrated overnight.

4️⃣ Lip Mask – Tatcha 💋

→ My secret to waking up with super soft lips — I never skip it.

5️⃣ Moisturizer – Farmacy 🌿

→ The final seal! Locks in all the layers so my skin stays dewy and nourished till morning.

✨ Rule of thumb: thinnest ➡️ thickest textures = maximum glow 🩷

... Read moreUnderstanding the general rule of thumb in skincare layering — applying products from thinnest to thickest — is essential for maximizing each product's effectiveness. Starting with a toner like Glow Recipe gently prepares the skin, adding hydration and improving absorption. Next, a brightening serum such as Tatcha’s formula delivers active ingredients deeply, helping even out skin tone and enhance radiance. Using an eye cream afterward targets delicate under-eye concerns like dark circles and dryness, a critical step often skipped by many. Incorporating a lip mask before moisturizer seals in moisture for soft, supple lips overnight, emphasizing the importance of lip care in your routine. Finally, a nourishing moisturizer from Farmacy locks everything in, creating a protective barrier that leaves skin dewy and refreshed by morning. The layering order leverages product texture differences, ensuring that lighter products penetrate deeply without being blocked by heavier creams. This sequence supports skin’s natural repair processes overnight. For those aiming to refine their nighttime regimen, remember to select products suited to your skin type, and avoid mixing incompatible actives to prevent irritation. Consistency and patience are key; results typically show after weeks of adhering to a proper layering routine. Ultimately, the skincare layering order isn’t just about application but about understanding product purpose and skin needs. This method delivers optimal benefits, promotes healthy skin, and enhances your natural glow.
