Also, Halloween movies like Hocus Pocus and Hubie Halloween were filmed here.

Sleepy Hollow in New York

A famous spooky town to visit around Halloween time thanks to the folklore around the “Legend of Sleepy Hollow” and fun events like The Great Jack O’Lantern Blaze!

This is where Washington Irving lived and used as the setting of his famous story, “The Legend of Sleepy Hollow.” In fact, the Sleepy Hollow Cemetery where his book is set is where he is buried!

Coupeville in Washington

This beautiful Whidbey Island off the coast of Washington is a gorgeous place to visit in the fall and the town of Coupeville in particular is popular among Halloween lovers as it was the set and filming location for the Halloween movie, Practical Magic.
