In reflecting on ways to submit to Christ, I've found that it truly transforms daily life when you embrace surrender and trust. One practical step is surrendering your own plans as highlighted in Matthew 6:10, which encourages letting God’s will be done rather than our own. Initially, it can feel uncomfortable releasing control, but Romans 12:1 reminds us to offer ourselves as living sacrifices, which means letting go of self-driven agendas for God's purposes. Obedience, particularly when it’s difficult, is another vital aspect discussed in John 14:15. Personal experience shows that obedience in trying moments deepens faith and fosters a unique sense of peace. Trusting God's timing, as Ecclesiastes 3:1 teaches, helps mitigate anxiety about outcomes, allowing us to rest in the assurance that there is a season for everything. What encourages me most is knowing that 'With God, all things are possible.' This truth bolsters perseverance and hope, especially when circumstances seem challenging. Practicing these steps regularly in my spiritual journey has brought greater clarity, patience, and fulfillment.
