Disney themed family movie night #1!

Our first Disney themed family movie night was so much fun!!

We kicked off our new tradition with Toy Story 5 to celebrate its release on streaming, and had fun with crafts, themed snacks and food, and good quality family time 🩵💛❤️

Being a mom is my full time job, so making our days together as fun as possible is so important to me, I want her to remember these moments forever!

Can’t wait for next weeks themed night! 💜👸🏼

Beyond just watching Toy Story 5, preparing creative themed snacks and crafts adds another layer of excitement and makes the evening truly special. One idea is making "The Chosen One" cookies using Oreos, melting candy coatings, and candy eyeballs—fun and kid-friendly treats that tie directly into the Toy Story theme. For a savory bite, try HAMM’s sliders with buttered Hawaiian rolls, ham, cheddar, and a homemade hot honey mustard sauce. These sliders are not only tasty but also easy to prepare ahead of time so you can focus on enjoying the movie. Craft activities like creating “Forkies” (the DIY craft sticks resembling Forky) can engage toddlers and encourage their creativity before the movie starts. You can also make "Slinky Fries" by skewering curly fries with slinky cutouts glued to the ends—both playful and thematic. For a sweet ending, "There’s a Snake in My Boot" dirt cups made from chocolate pudding, crushed Oreos, and gummy snakes make for a delightful dessert. Involving children in snack preparation and crafts not only makes them feel included but also enhances the anticipation for movie time. It's a wonderful way for stay-at-home parents to enrich everyday moments and build traditions kids will cherish. Plus, having leftovers like HAMM sliders can make snacking over the weekend a breeze! Planning regular Disney-themed movie nights with unique snacks and activities tailored to the film is a great way to keep family entertainment fresh. Next time, consider a “Pizza Planet” delivery shuttle serving themed pizza and cheese bread or Jessie’s chocolate pretzel lassos for a Toy Story inspired night. These creative touches turn an ordinary movie night into a magical experience that fosters family bonding, creativity, and lots of smiles. As a parent, I’ve found these moments priceless because they help create joyful memories that last a lifetime.
