Aladdin Dinner & A Movie 🍿🧞♂️💜
Family movie nights are a weekly occurrence in our household and everyone loved Aladdin. Check out what we had ⬇️
🍢 Kebabs 🍢
Use whatever proteins and veggies your family will eat. Kebabs are 100% customizable. We used meatballs, steak, cheese, broccoli, onion and pepper. The boys skipped out on the peppers and onions so they had extra broccoli. With food allergies and picky eaters, having easily customizable foods is a must!!
🍚 Jasmine Rice 🍚
This was an easy win for this theme & Jasmine rice is debatably the best rice. Plus how could you have a meal for Aladdin without including ✨Jasmine✨
🧀 Iago’s Cheese & Crackers 🧀
I genuinely thought this bird’s name was Polly for the longest time 🙈 He’s one of the best characters in the movie imo. This is just simple cheese and crackers. If you’re feeling fancy, use nice cheeses and crackers and serve it as an appetizer. In my house, this is a guaranteed hit with the kids and that is a WIN for me 🏆
🧞♂️Magic Carpets🧞♂️
Take graham crackers and your favorite sweet spreads to make your own magic carpets! We used cream cheese frosting, but you can use Nutella, fluff, peanut butter, yogurt… the list goes on. This is another customizable option to fit your family’s dietary needs. Top with sprinkles or make it a fun activity by letting the kids decorate their own! We used a fun mix of star and rainbow sprinkles.
🩵 Blue Beverage 🩵
We went with simple blue raspberry koolaid for a drink. It was pretty close in color to Jasmine’s outfit. Other great options would be cool blue Gatorade, or making your own blue lemonade with food dyes or spirulina powder!
