My Review of ACOTAR🌹

OKAY WOW. I'm not sure why I put it off for so long to read this book. I tried so many times but couldn't get into it, shoutout to all of you for pushing me through it with all of your amazing reviews! It was actually so good!

The first bit was definitely slow just setting the scene of the book and laying the groundwork. After that, you begin to see Feyre and Tamlin's relationship grow and transform. I'll be honest, I was waiting for something more eventful to happen most of the first half, but the second half had me HOOKED.

I loved the main character Feyre. She resembles strength, intelligence and true grit which I adore. I also love her creative side and the way SJM describes her love for art and painting. I also thought her relationship with her sisters was really beautiful!

I honestly can't decide how I feel about Tamlin yet! I really liked him at first but now that I've been introduced to Rhysand.. I'm not totally sure. They both confuse me!😂 I just know everyone loves Rhys haha so I'm sure that's why. Tamlin and Rhysand remind me of the Salvatore brothers on Vampire Diaries in so many ways honestly! The ending was not what I expected and it was super satisfying.

Overall, I give this book 4 stars! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ At the end I was definitely left wanting more and I am so excited to read the next book. I can't wait to really get to know Rhys more and see what happens next! Everyone says A Court of Mist and Fury is the best one. 🐉 Do you agree?

Who's read this series?!

... Read moreAfter diving headfirst into A Court of Thorns and Roses by Sarah J. Maas, like many of you, I found myself completely captivated by the intricate world and its unforgettable characters. The original review touches on Feyre's strength and artistic spirit, and her confusing relationship with Tamlin, especially once Rhysand enters the scene. Let's delve a little deeper into these dynamics, because trust me, you're not alone if you're wrestling with your feelings for these Fae lords! Feyre and Tamlin: The Initial Allure When we first meet Feyre and Tamlin, their connection feels almost fated. He's the mysterious, powerful High Lord who saves her (in a way) and brings her to his beautiful, cursed court. Their early interactions are filled with a push-and-pull, a slow burn that builds into a passionate love story. For a while, it’s easy to root for them. Tamlin offers Feyre protection, a sense of belonging, and a world away from her impoverished human life. He sees her art, encourages her, and their developing romance is a significant part of the first book's appeal. Many readers, myself included, were initially swept up in the romance of the Spring Court, envisioning a happily ever after for Feyre and Tamlin. It's a classic fairy tale setup: the beastly prince and the brave heroine. However, as the story progresses and the complexities of the curse and the world under the mountain unfold, cracks begin to appear. Tamlin's protectiveness, while initially endearing, can start to feel stifling. His inability to fully confide in Feyre, or perhaps his desire to shield her, creates distance. This is where the narrative truly challenges our initial perceptions. The idea of 'does Feyre love Tamlin' becomes less straightforward as she's forced to make sacrifices and face horrors that Tamlin couldn't entirely prepare her for. The Entrance of Rhysand: A Game Changer And then there’s Rhysand. Oh, Rhysand! His introduction is nothing short of electrifying. Initially presented as the villainous High Lord of the Night Court, his motives are shrouded in mystery and his actions seem cruel. But as Feyre spends more time under the mountain, we, along with her, begin to see glimpses of a different man. He's cunning, yes, but also strategic, fiercely loyal to his people, and surprisingly kind beneath the dangerous facade. The dynamic between Feyre and Rhysand is entirely different from what she shares with Tamlin. It's built on banter, challenges, and a deeper understanding of each other's pain and strength. He doesn't just protect her; he empowers her. Many readers, myself included, find themselves completely torn. 'Feyre tamlin rhysand' becomes the central question of the series. Who is the right one for her? Is it the stable, passionate love with Tamlin, or the fierce, intellectual, and deeply connected bond with Rhysand? The series masterfully plays with these relationships, forcing us to question what true love and partnership really mean. The queries like 'is feyre with tamlin or rhysand' highlight this very conflict that grips readers long after finishing the first book. It's not just about romance; it's about growth, freedom, and finding a partner who sees and supports your true self. Why the Debate Rages On The enduring popularity and high search queries around 'feyre and tamlin', 'feyre and rhysand', and 'does feyre love tamlin or rhysand' truly showcase the brilliance of Sarah J. Maas's character development. She creates characters that are flawed, complex, and evolve over time, much like people in real life. The journey of Feyre, from a human huntress to a powerful Fae, is intrinsically linked to these two formidable High Lords. Each relationship teaches her something different about herself and the world. It’s why fans create 'feyre and tamlin fanart' or passionately debate 'rhysand tamlin' on forums – because these characters resonate so deeply. If you're still on the fence, I highly recommend continuing the series; the answers, and even more questions, await you in A Court of Mist and Fury and beyond!

You don’t really get full Rhys until the next book. Tamlin… let’s just say he doesn’t have his shit together.

I can’t choose a favorite. And I know Tamlin went about protecting her wrong, but that’s the only way he knew how. I still like him, just not with Feyre.
