Making emotional money decisions doesn't always mean there's no reason.
Suppose we're going to buy a house.
What should be done is to open up the table.
And then compare each house.
How much is it?
Where is the location?
Is travel convenient?
How different are the areas?
Which back is the most "worth"?
But then one day,
We walked in to see a house.
Then felt
"I like it here."
We know where to put the couch.
This corner will work.
There will be a bookshelf.
And the balcony will put the tree
Both at the other house may be "worth more" on paper.
The question is...
Should this kind of feeling really be ruled out of money decisions?
We are often taught that money requires reason.
Emotional decisions are vexatious.
But in fact, emotions are not always hostile to finance.
Because money is not meant to make the numbers in the account higher alone.
Money is also a tool we use to build.
"The life you want to spend."
Because this is a good financial decision.
Probably not at the choice of whether to believe.
"Brain" or "Heart"
But right at the intersection between the two.
The brain says
"How much can we afford?"
The heart helps answer that
"What is what means to us?"
Like when we find a favorite dish
Or songs that you like very much
We don't need to create Excel tables.
To prove why we should like it.
Sometimes the word
"Because I like it."
Is a reason that has value in itself.
Money may be no different.
We don't need to eliminate emotion from every decision.
Just have to build
"Financial framework"
To give it first
If we define
This price of house, we can pay.
Doesn't hit the reserves.
And not destroy another financial goal.
After that...
Choosing a home that makes us happier.
Even it may not be the "most rewarding" option.
Doesn't mean we made the wrong choice
Because in the end,
Good money management.
Probably not using reason to get rid of feelings.
But is reasoning.
Create space for us to spend money on something meaningful.
