I recently embarked on an incredible journey through Iowa, and let me tell you, this state is full of unexpected gems and charming attractions that are truly worth a visit! Iowa's culinary scene also pleasantly surprised me. Beyond the famous Iowa State Fair (which is an absolute spectacle if you visit in August – seriously, try a pork chop on a stick!), explore local diners and farm-to-table restaurants.
