Last week I went to Hershey Park with my family. Never in my life would I have thought I would get stuck on a roller coaster, but I did! I went to ride the Jolly Rancher Remix coaster, and as soon as we started to go up, it made a weird noise it shouldn’t have and it stopped! I could see some of the worker staring up at us with worry on their face. One girl was on the phone calling for maintenance. We sat there for a couple minutes before they finally made an announcement on the intercom that maintenance was coming to help.
When maintenance got there, they were able to slowly lower the coaster back to the beginning. It took so long because of how slow it was, and then it took awhile for them to get the lap bars off of us so we could get out.
Overall, we were stuck for at least 20 mins‼️When we finally were able to get off the coaster, they gave us free Fast Passes and a voucher for a free snack/drink. I thought that was pretty awesome, but unfortunately the Fast Pass was kinda useless because the lines were so short that day we barely had to wait! I guess because we went on a Wednesday and there were storm chances… idk. 🤷🏼♀️
It really wasn’t a scary experience for me. Just very thankful I wasn’t upside down. 🙃 The weird thing is that earlier that morning I was thinking about how crazy it’d be to get stuck on one. 😳
