PENANG 3Days 2Nights 🇲🇾 (Eat-Travel-Mu Edition Complete in One Trip)

The first trip to Penang was 3 days and 2 nights. 🇲🇾

🗓️ Day 0-1: Travel from BMA - Padang Besar (Malaysia) 🚂

• 4.45pm: Take the Bangkok Station train (Delay from the time on the ticket, 4.10pm) > > > to Padang Besar, about 08.15am.

• Thailand and Malaysia (Thailand can speak Thai, not many questions)

• 10.35am: Walk up to buy a ticket. Take the bus to Butterworth station (approximately 2 hours).

• 1 p.m.: Walk to board the Ferry to Penang Island (15-20 minutes)

• Then walk up to the Bus or call Grab to the shelter.

🗓️ Day 1: A chilly, rainy day, walking for food ☔️

📍 after packing our bags at the hotel, we went out to eat at New World Park, near the property. Uncle Grab suggested it as a big Food Court and a separate shop. We chose Rutin, an air conditioner with a variety of food in Europe and China.

HEMA HEMA Icecream: The famous ice cream shop of Penang is open only Wednesday-Sunday. Silky ice cream, strong taste. Want to eat again every day. Each week will not taste the same. People in the queue come out in front of the store, but wait soon. 🍦

SOME TEA: Tea shop found by chance. Order pearl jasmine milk tea. Very fragrant tea. Chewy pearls.

Gurney Plaza: The famous mall in this city, Central Ladprao, our house. The bottom floor is full of food shops. You can buy souvenirs.

• Empire Sushi has a lot of faces to choose from. Long queue too (but Thai is cheaper)

• Ban Heang, the famous dessert shop of Penang, carried many boxes back to Thailand (the most delicious purple box)

• Mercato is a feed Tops. Our home can buy deposits in here. There are many brands available.

• Beryl's, the most popular chocolate shop in Malay, can be said to have many flavors, affordable, some sold in Thailand.

📍 Chulia Street: Let's stop by for a late-night meal. We go at 10: 00 p.m. (Malay). It's almost closed. There's a soup noodle shop with fried noodles (Thai fried feed, but a little spicy from the sauce they put on).

🗓️ Day 2: Eat-Travel-Shop 🍜🛍️🛤️

Penang Hill: Get up early in the morning to go up the hill to see the view around the city, but the rain is falling, can't see anything, hahahaha, but the weather is very good. The temperature above is a little cold. It is recommended to go early in the morning before 9: 00 am because it is very hot or cold. 5: 00 pm or above (there is dark, very slow sunset at 7: 30 pm).

Cookiecrumbs: A new baked cookie shop. The fragrance of the whole shop. But the price is secretly strong and delicious without regretting money. Buy a bag back to Thailand too. Intense as well.

▶️ Recommended menu: Juicy red pig with roast duck, crispy leather 🦆

Penang Street Art: Pin and walk. There are all corners of this city.

Bao Shi dee Pastry: This shop found by chance, saw the chicken yong cake sign, our love slave ran quickly, unfortunately bought one piece, delicious like wanting to carry it back.

Mydin: The local supermarket store has both yes and snacks. We also buy souvenirs here. Near the property, the price is better at the mall, but there are not as many brands in the mall.

Chew Jetty: A fishing village. There is a shopping shop about culture. Walk to sit and hang around the sea.

Gurney Bay: A large park. There are people running, sitting, bicycling. Let's sit and watch the sunset here. It's so beautiful. 🌅 (There's a sea next to it to walk, but the sand here is black)

Rim Tha Non Mookata: Dinner We choose is the food that should be the cheapest. The pork pan here will be another feed, unlike in Thailand, but the dipping sauce, broth, can stay.

🗓️ Day 3: Take a walk around town and go to Mu before you return. 🙏

📍 Fu Er Dai: A very impressive dim sum shop. Delicious on all menus. Pick up what you like. Here he eats with sweet and sour chili sauce. 🌶️

Hainan Thean Hou Temple: An old Chinese temple known for its peace and success in its work

Temple of the Goddess of Mercy: It is the oldest Chinese shrine in Penang. It is found by chance on the way. It is a shrine where Penang people make a lot of wishes. Featured in fortune, work, love.

Pinang Peranakan Mansion: An old mansion, colorful to the whole house, with a variety of ancient utensils on display, reflecting the way of life of the affluent people of the time (a lot of people, maybe walking and not having fun)

Caio Gelato: The last shop before returning to Thailand. Hot to eat smooth gelato ice cream. There are a variety of flavors to choose from. Juicy, fabulous service.

🗝️ Trick suggests

• Fill in MDAC 3 days in advance of entry.

• Umbrella / Glasses: Penang, the sun is very hot. It rains with 🕶️

• Travel: Grab 🚘 (Good price, same app in Thailand) and Bus 🚌 (Pin up and choose on the line to go straight away. The car comes quite on time, but the drive is like the 8th bus Thailand)

• Bus: Use cash, no change, go up and tell the driver the destination and drop the money in the box. He will press the ticket.

• Money: We lost 2,500 Thai baht (about 310 RM). Focus on credit cards.

• Internet: We choose to buy SIM Unlimited from shopee (3 days 169 baht), but the SIM signal is already in Malaysia. There is no signal in the checkpoint, but at the train station there is a SIM for sale for about 240 baht.

• Spending: Major stores / malls accept credit cards and cash, and local stores use cash only.

• We reserve accommodation through Agoda (includes all taxes and pay 100 RM deposit)

• Wear comfortable and wet shoes because the place will be close to each other, walk for 10-15 minutes. 🩴👟
