😍DINING WITH AN AMAZING VIEW ʕ •ᴥ•ʔ

To celebrate my boyfriend’s ORD, i decided to treat him to a nice dinner at Picotin!

it was our first time there and we were quite pleasant with our whole experience there 🤍

Firstly, we LOVEEE rooftop dining so i’m glad i picked this place bc the vibes were rly just on point 🤌🏻 even though it wasn’t very high up, there was breeze and the views were just 10/10. Surrounded by city lights, landscapers and the sea were just the perfect view.

Secondly, for food, we were still broke students so we went for the cheaper typical bar food HAHA however the portion came to be quite big and we had trouble finishing it🤧 food taste was okay, nothing too wow but for the portion, i’ll give it a 7.5-8/10

Lastly, service was good and the place was build in a boat concept so it was rather cute. there were some photo opportunities otw up to the place which was nice too ( rmb to go the restaurant at the highest floor bc there are about 2/3 restaurants in that building)

Overall a really great place to dine if you love rooftop dining!’ Price wise was quite reasonable to me, considering the view and everything.

If you’re considering a visit to Picotin for a dinner date, especially if you’re students or budget-conscious couples like me, here are some tips to enhance your experience. Firstly, although the food leans toward typical bar fare and may not wow your taste buds, the portions are generous, making it good value for money. You might want to try sharing dishes to avoid food waste. Secondly, don’t miss the photo opportunities around the building—its unique boat concept and the surrounding views make for great Instagram shots, especially during sunset or at night with city lights. The WaterBoat House location adds charm, and I recommend visiting the highest floor for the best rooftop dining spot. There are a couple of other restaurants in the same building, so don’t miss Picotin’s unique vibe. Also, keep in mind the breezy atmosphere, which makes dining comfortable even though it’s not a very tall rooftop. Overall, it’s a relaxed, aesthetically pleasing place that's perfect for casual couple dates or small group outings where the ambiance is just as important as the food. If you love rooftop dining with a view but don’t want to break the bank, Picotin is definitely worth checking out.
