My partner came across this tiktok a few weeks back about a steak buffet and we couldn’t believe our eyes 👀
I mean, ITS STEAK, & BUFFET??? We just had to give it a try. Not to mention it’s at $48+/pax, which is honestly quite an affordable price!! #FoodDeals
Here are my thoughts;
The restaurant is called Bouef. We opted for the “ Free Flow Ribeye” which entitles us to unlimited Rib Eye Steak, complementary bread & free flow water. Othering other items from their ala carte menu is also available at additional charges.
THE STEAK🥩
Surprisingly REALLY GOOD. I said i’m surprised as usually with buffet stuff, you don’t really expect top notch food quality as it’s more about the quantity. However, the steaks here are actually tender and juicy. Usually, i would go with some sauce to pair with the steak but for here, i don’t need any!! It was flavourful enough. I did add some salt/pepper/butter to adjust it better to my taste but it was satisfactory without it.
Well…. here comes the main question. How many steak did we eat??? 🫢
My partner and I aren’t big eaters at all so if you would like a gauge, i ate 4 & he ate 5 HAHAHA. My last one was kinda pushing it but i still manage to eat all 4. Be prepared to chew a lot and save the bread to balance/neutralise the meaty taste in your mouth before continuing eating OR you could order the ala carte items xd
THE SERVICE👩🏻🍳
Not gonna lie, it was a little hectic. Maybe it’s because everyone opted for the steak buffet but they did messed up our orders a few times at the start…. & they also sort of accused us that they didn’t receive our payment beforehand and ask us to make payment again😵💫Thankfully, we checked the bank transections and showed them the receipt - so that was quite an ordeal. However, they did cook the steak very fast though!!
OVERALL THOUGHTS 💭
Will i be back? Hmmm… for the steak buffet… probably if i’m craving 🤤 if not i’ll definitely go for the other deals instead! They have this 3 course lunch set menu for $29.9++ which is honestly QUITE A SLAY. #MidYearLobang Nonetheless, it’s still a good experience though!! For the price point and the quality of steak, it’s definitely worth a go. Just be prepared that you may not want to eat steak for a while after this buffet HAHAHAH🤭🤭
