Growing up, i always seen/know people (or girls) who went thru massive glow up by ditching glasses for contacts!! Thank god for me, ive been blessed with relatively good eyesight so i didn’t had to wear glasses throughout my teenage years 🤓 In the past, glasses are always seen as nerdy….doesn’t go well with outfit etc etc. However, that’s not the case now.
People have started to wear glasses as a fashion statement now and i got to say I LOVE THE LOOK. 👌🏼 Be it the geek chic or office siren look, glasses have started to grow on me. For a person who doesnt NEED glasses, i end up getting one because of these looks LOLOL (although i did use it during school lessons as well)
However, not all specs fit the look and you need to know what specs fit yours face too!! (might do another post on this) ✍🏻 I tried alot of specs from regular specs shop but none fit me as well as Gentle Monster 🫶🏻 Yes it’s expensive, but i really love how they look on my face.
The only downside would be their lens are a little too reflective? (idk if it’s js me)
But anyway, wearing specs has instead GAVE ME confidence and it elevates certain outfits of mine!!! Every time i wear it out i always have friends telling me the specs r nice and all hahaha ( so got ego boost too >< )
