私が行く前に気になって調べたのが、「お守りはどこで買う？」「御朱印はある？」「塩って必要？」「待ち受けにするといいって本当？」のあたり。現地で感じたことを、これから行く人向けに補足します。 まず神龍八大龍王神社は“無人”なので、社務所のような窓口は基本的にありません。なので、一般的な神社みたいにその場で御朱印を書いてもらうのは難しいと思っておくと安心です（私は現地で「電話も無い」と知って、事前確認してよかった…となりました）。御朱印目的の方は、菊池周辺の神社でいただくプランに切り替えるのもアリ。 次に「お守り」。私の場合は、きくち観光物産館で“福蛇の袴”を買ってから神社へ行きました。ここがポイントで、物産館は定休日が月ごとに変わることがあるみたいなので、行く前に電話で開いている日を聞くのが確実です。現地で買えないと、せっかくの流れ（購入→持参→一緒に祈願）ができなくなるので要注意。 福蛇の袴の祈願方法はシンプルで、社殿内（祈願所）の台に置いて、一緒に手を合わせる形。私は「置く場所あるかな？」と不安でしたが、実際に台があって迷いませんでした。財布に入れて持ち歩く派の人も多いみたいで、金運のお守り感覚で続けやすいのも良かったです。 「塩」については、検索すると“八大龍王神社 塩”みたいな情報が出てきますが、神社ごとに作法や扱いは違うことが多い印象。私はこの神社では“塩を授与してもらう”流れには出会わなかったので、塩目的なら“どこの八大龍王神社の話か”を確認してから動くのがおすすめです（奈良の八大龍王神社など、同名・類似の情報が混ざりやすいです）。 最後に「待ち受け」。境内は鳥居から参道の階段、竹林っぽい雰囲気が続いていて、写真だけでも神秘感が強め。私は鳥居と「宇宙最高の神」と書かれた石碑を撮って、気分が上がる1枚を待ち受けにしました。大事なのは“これを見ると背筋が伸びる”みたいな、自分にとってのスイッチ写真を選ぶことだと思います。 アクセス面は、鳥居横の空き地が数台分の駐車スペースになっていて、近所の方が教えてくれました。初見だと「ここ停めていいの？」となりやすいので、到着したら周囲の案内表示と通行の邪魔にならない位置を確認してから停めると安心です。
