私がいちばん気になっていたのが「願い玉って、どこにつけるのが正解？」という点。結論から言うと、神社側から“絶対ここ”と強い指定があるわけではない印象で、私はストラップとして「毎日目に入る場所」に付けるのがしっくりきました。バッグの内側のポケット（落下しにくい）や、鍵・キーケース、スマホポーチなど、持ち歩く頻度が高いものが安心。逆に、雨に濡れやすい傘の持ち手や、ぶつけやすい外側のチャーム位置は傷が気になって避けました。 次に「尾道の願い玉は種類がある？」問題。店頭で見る限り、色・模様・形の出方が本当にバラバラで、ハート模様っぽいものやピンク系、カラフルなガラスのものなど“デザイン違い”が実質の種類だと思います。同じものはないので、選ぶ時間も楽しいです。私は第一印象で「これだ」と思った色を選びました。迷う人は、直感＋「叶えたい願いのイメージに近い色」を基準にすると決めやすいです。 「尾道願い玉の効果」については、正直“すぐに何かが起きる”というより、自分の中のスイッチを入れてくれるお守り感覚。参拝のときに“お願いは一つだけ”と決めて握るので、願いが具体的になってブレにくいのが良いところだと感じました。叶った・叶わなかったで悩むより、期限を決めて行動に落とす（例：3か月で応募する、毎週1回通う、など）と相性がいいと思います。 売り切れ対策も大事。私は以前、日曜のお昼で売り切れだったので、次は朝に電話で在庫（入荷）確認→できるだけ早い時間に到着、でリベンジしました。火・木・土・日が目安でも、入らない日があることもあるようなので、遠方なら電話確認が安心です。 あと嬉しかったのが「願い玉（再製）」。願いが叶った人の願い玉を再製していて、金具やストラップ部分は交換、石（ガラス）を活かして改めて祈祷されたものだそう。新品と同じ価格帯で並んでいたので、“ご縁のリレー”みたいで個人的にすごく惹かれました。 烏須井八幡神社は境内も歩きやすく、受付でお守りもいろいろ見られます。無事に帰る蛙や、転ばない金の蛙、ハート型など、ちょっと珍しいデザインが多め。願い玉と一緒に、自分の生活に合う形のお守りを選ぶのもおすすめです。 御朱印が気になる方は、参拝の流れの中で受付に声をかけて確認するとスムーズでした（時間帯によって対応が変わることもあるので、こちらも事前確認が安心）。尾道観光のついでに寄れる距離感なので、“願い玉目的＋周辺散策”で予定を組むと満足度が高いと思います。
