SNSで「コンバースの聖地」と見かけて気になっていた、神戸・元町の柿本商店へ。最初に言いたいのは、写真で見るより現地の情報量がすごい…！床から天井までコンバースがぎっしりで、思わず「これ全部サイズあるの？」って疑ってしまうレベルでした。 私が行ったときも、店内は“片方だけ”がずらっと陳列されていて、購入を決めたらバックヤードからもう片方を出してもらう流れ。つまり見えている数の倍、在庫があるってことなので、コンバース好きには宝探し感が強いです。初見だと圧倒されるので、気になる棚をざっくり決めてから「この辺で◯cmありますか？」って聞くとスムーズでした。 「柿本商店 コンバース レア」で調べて行く人が多いと思うのですが、今は販売規制の影響でUSAコンバースは基本取り扱いがなく、日本規格が中心。ただ、その“日本規格の限定品”が強いのが柿本商店の面白さでした。私が見た中では、100周年限定っぽい白ベースに文字柄のモデルや、2023秋冬限定のカーキ系など、ぱっと見で「普通の定番じゃない」デザインが混ざっていてテンション上がります。 あと、「柿本商店 写真」を探している人向けに補足すると、外観は屋根付き商店街の中にあって入りやすい雰囲気。店先からすでに靴が見えて、入店前からワクワクします。店内写真は広角で撮ると“壁一面コンバース”が伝わりやすいけど、人が多い時間帯は撮影の配慮も必要なので、混雑が落ち着く時間を狙うのもおすすめです。 行く前の実用メモも置いておきます。 ・営業時間は11:00-19:00、定休日は木曜 ・元町駅から商店街を歩いて行ける距離感 ・サイズ感が不安なら、履きたいモデルをいくつか候補にして試着依頼すると失敗しにくい 「元町 コンバース 柿本商店」で迷っているなら、観光ついでに寄る価値あり。定番を買うというより、“今の自分に刺さる1足を発掘しに行く店”って感じでした。
