「縁切り神社ってやばいの？」と少し身構えていたけど、宇美神社は“怖い”というより、気持ちを整えて次に進むための場所だと感じました。出雲大社に行く前に立ち寄る人が増えているのも納得で、悪縁切り→良縁祈願の流れがすごく分かりやすいんです。 まず到着したら、駐車スペースは鳥居に向かって右横に数台分ありました（週末は早め推奨）。境内はコンパクトで、本殿は入口正面。基本は「二礼二拍一礼」からスタートします。 参拝が済んだら、縁切り割札を購入。案内に「御初穂料500円はお賽銭箱」と書かれていて、私は迷わずお賽銭箱へ納めました。木札（縁切り縁結び祈願札）は、切りたい縁と結びたい縁を分けて書けるのがポイント。男女関係だけじゃなく、病気・悪い癖・自分を落とす考え方や人間関係など、具体的に書くと気持ちの整理がしやすいです。絵馬がある場所も、時計廻りに廻った先に案内が出ていました。 そしていちばん大事なのが“回り方”。宇美神社では、縁切りをお願いしたあとに左回り（時計回り）で本殿まわり→縁結神社へ進む流れ。ここを逆（反時計回り）にしてしまうと、せっかく断ちたいものと「また結ばれてしまう」と言われているので要注意です。私はその注意書きが印象的で、ゆっくり確認しながら回りました。 縁切りの手順は、木札を割って（割札）切りたい縁が書いてある側に息を吹きかけ、縁切箱に入れる流れ。箱に入れた札は人目に触れず祈念され、お焚き上げされると聞いて安心感がありました。その後、残った札を持って時計回りに廻り、縁結神社で良縁祈願。最後にお守り袋へ入れて持ち帰る形で、白い袋に「切」「縁」「結」と文字があるタイプが目印です。 復縁目的の人は少し考え方が変わって、「一度縁を切ってから結び直す」祈願の作法があるのも特徴。私は“関係の修復＝同じ形に戻す”ではなく、“良い形に整え直す”という発想なんだなと感じました。 出雲大社の縁結びをより前向きに受け取りたい人ほど、宇美神社で悪縁切りを先にやっておくと、参拝の気持ちが軽くなると思います。
