「安芸高田 湯治村」「神楽門前湯治村」で調べて行く人向けに、現地で“困りがちポイント”を補足します。 私が一番よかったのは、村の中がテーマパークみたいにまとまっていて、神楽・温泉・ごはんが同じ敷地感で完結するところ。提灯が並ぶ通りや昔ながらの街並みを歩くだけでも気分が上がります。写真スポットも多く、神楽のキャラクター看板や赤い郵便ポストなど「ここならでは」の景色がありました。 神楽目当てなら、まずは神楽ドームの当日券販売開始時間（11:00）を意識して動くのがおすすめです。自由席なので、週末や連休は早めに着くと安心。上演演目は直前発表になることもあるので、行く前に公式の開催スケジュールをチェックして「昼公演（2演目）にするか／夜公演（1演目）にするか」を決めると、温泉や食事の時間が組みやすいです。 温泉は「岩戸屋」がメイン。日帰り入浴は札止めがあるので、神楽を見てから入る場合は時間に余裕を持つとバタバタしません。タオル販売・バスタオルレンタルがあるのは地味に助かりました。露天やサウナもあるので、歩き回った後の休憩にちょうど良いです。 食事は名物の「夜叉うどん」狙いの人が多い印象。青ネギがたっぷりで、熱くて辛い系なので、辛さが不安なら“普通”から試すのが無難です（キムチが食べられる人ならいける、という体感の説明も見かけました）。辛さやネギの種類が選べるのも楽しくて、次は大盛にも挑戦したくなりました。 家族連れなら、神楽グッズやDVDが並ぶ売店、駄菓子コーナーがかなり盛り上がりそう。さらに日曜・祝日・公演日に開く体験系（神楽面の絵付けなど）もあるので、「観る」だけじゃなく「触れる」目的で行くと満足度が上がります。 最後に宿泊。湯治村は“宿が選べない（チェックイン時に案内）”スタイルなので、こだわりが強い人は事前にプラン内容をよく確認しておくと安心です。私は日帰りでも十分楽しめましたが、昼の神楽＋温泉＋夜神楽まで満喫するなら宿泊の方が時間に追われずおすすめでした。
