I managed to find this place for one of my projects. The Interior and Exterior of the Restaurant is so pretty and beautiful, this house was used in the past during the Japan Occupation hence, it does give off a traditional architecture vibe. While dining there, there’s air condition so do not worry if you think it will be hot and stuffy as well as there is a toilet in the restaurant too. Not forgetting there is a sea view while dining there! 🌊
I went there two times to try their Western and Chinese Cuisines. I would highly recommend the Chinese Cuisine as it has more flavour compared to the Western Cuisine! 🥹 Please order the Seaweed Seafood Soup and Marmite Chicken, you will not regret it yum! ❤️ The portion is quite big for the Chinese Cuisine as it is meant for 2-3 pax. Not gonna lie but this place is quite pricey but it is worth the try for the food and the experience, so remember to bring more people/friends/family when you go there to share and save more money 💰

If you're budget-conscious, it's best to come with family or friends since sharing dishes makes the cost more manageable given the mid-range to slightly higher price point. Plus, the beautiful traditional house setting, once used during the Japan Occupation, provides a nostalgic atmosphere rarely found in modern restaurants. Lastly, don't miss the chance to snap some Instagram-worthy shots around the restaurant—both interiors and the scenic outdoor spots around Sembawang Park.
