「水族館って子ども向け？」と思っていた私が、すっかり大人でもときめく場所だと感じたのが新江ノ島水族館でした。初めて行く人向けに、当日困らないポイントを補足します。 まず、回り方のコツは“混む場所と時間”を意識すること。相模湾大水槽は人気なので、入館したら早めに一度見に行って場所の雰囲気を掴む→館内を回ったあと、もう一回戻ってゆっくり鑑賞、の流れが落ち着きます。特にダイバー（えのすいトリーター／アクアリスト）の水槽内パフォーマンスは、開始直前だと前列が埋まりがち。泡が上がって魚の群れがきらめく瞬間が本当に綺麗なので、少し早めにスタンバイして“見やすい角度”を確保するのがおすすめです。 写真を撮るなら、基本はフラッシュなしでOKな設定に。スマホなら「ナイトモード」や「露出（明るさ）を少し上げる」を試すと、水槽の青が潰れにくいです。逆に、あえて人物をシルエットにして水槽を背景に撮ると、デートっぽい雰囲気が出て失敗しにくい印象。クラゲの展示は光が柔らかくて、手を伸ばすポーズも映えます。 体験系で印象に残ったのは真珠の取り出し体験。ピンセットで貝から真珠を取り出す瞬間は、想像以上に“ちゃんと体験してる感”があります。取り出した真珠をそのまま持ち帰るか、ネックレス・指輪・ピアスなどに加工するか選べるので、旅の記念やプレゼントにもぴったり。時間に余裕がある日に組み込むと満足度が上がりました。 アクセス面では、えのすい自体に専用駐車場がない点だけ注意。車なら近隣の地下駐車場を使うと入口が近くて楽でした。夏はすぐ横に海の家も出るので、水族館→海辺散歩の流れにすると1日コースで楽しめます。大人が静かに癒されたい“水族館”として、かなり推せます。
