We’ve had our second dog for just over a year now, and what a wild ride it has been. Our first dog, Kira, LOVES other dogs. We’d thought she’d take well to a new friend, it took them some time to warm up, but they act like furry siblings now and love to get into mischief.

It’s important to take it slow and make sure they feel comfortable when you add another dog to your home.

5. Patience and Time: Remember, it may take time for them to adjust and become friends. Be patient and give them time to get used to each other's presence.
