I built 5 Claude skills that run my content system 🍋

These are not five prompts.

They are five files I built because I kept making the same decisions over and over:

The Screener checks an X draft before I publish it.

The Voice loads my writing rules, proof and banned phrases before it writes.

The Deployer turns one idea into the right format for each platform.

The Closer reads the page before replying, so it does not invent features or send a weird generic DM.

The Bouncer checks what a third-party skill or MCP is asking for before I install it.

That is the whole point of Claude skills for me: not “more content,” but fewer avoidable mistakes.

I put the starter skill and install guide in the link in my bio.

... Read moreIn my journey of managing content creation, I realized that repetitive decisions and mistakes were slowing down my workflow. That’s when I developed five Claude skills acting as specialized files rather than simple prompts, each tailored to a specific task that ensures consistency and quality. The first skill, The Screener, is particularly invaluable for anyone publishing on X (formerly Twitter). It simulates the platform’s open-source algorithm to score drafts before publishing, helping avoid common pitfalls like down-ranked link placements or missing engagement hooks. This kind of preemptive draft analysis can drastically improve post visibility without guesswork. Next, The Voice skill enforces my unique writing style by loading predefined writing rules—such as banned phrases, proof requirements, and tone adjustments—before generating any text. This prevents errors like overused emojis or fabricated claims and preserves an authentic brand voice across content. The Deployer skill addresses the challenge many creators face: adapting one idea to various platforms. Whether it’s Instagram carousel slides, TikTok clips with specific hooks, or threaded posts with links in replies, this tool sequences and formats content natively for each platform’s best practices. This ensures efficient, platform-optimized content rollout without manual post editing. One of the most underrated aspects of social media management is engagement quality, and The Closer skill fills that gap by reading the full page context before replying to comments or DMs. This prevents generic or inaccurate responses, fostering meaningful conversations rather than robotic interactions. Finally, The Bouncer skill acts as a security checkpoint for third-party AI skills or MCPs. It analyzes external requests and warns against suspicious permissions, such as unnecessary write access or data sending outside approved endpoints. This layer of oversight is essential for maintaining control over your content system and safeguarding sensitive information. Overall, these Claude skills have transformed how I handle content—not by flooding the channels with more, but by making fewer avoidable mistakes and maintaining consistent quality. For content creators and businesses looking to streamline operations, building systems like these can save countless hours and improve audience trust. If you’re interested in setting up a similar content system, start with The Screener to catch major issues early. Combining these with your personal writing rules and platform-specific formatting can transform the way you create and manage content. Plus, keeping control over installed skills through careful vetting processes ensures your content machine runs smoothly and securely throughout the year.
