Why do mosquitoes like to fly beside the ears? 🦟
Mosquitoes like to fly by their ears when sleeping because of the main reasons as follows:
1.Mosquitoes use carbon dioxide guidance - Mosquitoes have carbon dioxide-sensitive (CO ❣) sensors that humans release all the time to breathe, especially when they sleep slower and deeper breathing, causing mosquitoes to fly closer to their heads.
2.Heat and body odor - mosquitoes can detect heat and human body odor well. Our ears are near the head, which is a warmer spot than other parts of the body.
3. Female mosquitoes need blood - most of them are females because they need blood protein to lay eggs.
4.Mosquito wing noise - Female mosquitoes flap their wings about 400-600 times a second, causing a buzzing sound in the ear. Even when flying near the eardrum, the sound waves will sound, annoying us.
🗣 how to prevent:
🔸 use a fan or turn on the air conditioner because the strong wind makes it difficult for mosquitoes to fly.
🔸 use mosquito repellent spray or mosquito repellent lotion.
🔸 sleep in mosquito nets or use mosquito-proof wire nets.
🔸 remove water supplies around the house to reduce mosquito breeding.
To sum it up, mosquitoes do not particularly intend to harass us, but they are attracted by our own smell, heat, and carbon dioxide! 😴

ถ้าคุณเคยเจอ “ยุงบินข้างหู” ตอนกำลังจะหลับ จะเข้าใจเลยว่ามันไม่ได้เจ็บเท่ายุงกัด แต่ทรมานตรงเสียงหึ่งๆ ใกล้แก้วหูนี่แหละ บางคืนถึงขั้นลุกมานั่งหาว่าอยู่ตรงไหน ซึ่งจริงๆ มันมีเหตุผลที่ยุงชอบวนแถวๆ ศีรษะ และเราปรับสภาพแวดล้อมนิดหน่อยก็ช่วยได้เยอะ สิ่งที่ฉันสังเกตคือ พอยิ่งนอนนิ่งๆ ยุงยิ่งหาเราเจอไว เพราะลมหายใจเราสม่ำเสมอ ทำให้มันตาม “คาร์บอนไดออกไซด์” ได้ง่าย แล้วบริเวณหน้า/หูมักจะอุ่นกว่าส่วนอื่น โดยเฉพาะถ้าเพิ่งอาบน้ำอุ่นหรือห่มผ้าหนาๆ ยุงก็ยิ่งชอบมาวนใกล้ๆ เพื่อหาจุดลงกัดแบบปลอดภัย วิธีที่ช่วยลดปัญหายุงบินข้างหูแบบเห็นผลในห้องนอนของฉัน: 1) เปิดพัดลมให้ลมปะทะตัว (ไม่ใช่เป่าผนัง) ยุงเป็นแมลงบินที่แพ้ลมแรง ถ้าจัดให้ลมวิ่งผ่านบริเวณหัวเตียงหรือช่วงหน้า-อก จะช่วยตัดทางบินและทำให้มัน “โฉบ” ใกล้หูได้ยากขึ้น 2) จัดเตียงให้ห่างจุดยุงชอบเกาะ ถ้าหัวเตียงชิดผนัง ม่าน หรือกองเสื้อผ้า ยุงมีที่หลบ/พักปีก แล้วค่อยบินมาใกล้หู ลองเว้นระยะเตียงจากผนังเล็กน้อย เก็บผ้าที่กองไว้ และลดของที่ห้อยระย้า จะทำให้ยุงไม่มีจุดซุ่ม 3) ใช้โลชั่น/สเปรย์กันยุง “เฉพาะจุด” ก่อนนอนฉันทาที่ข้อเท้า แขน และท้ายทอยบางๆ เพราะเป็นจุดที่ยุงชอบวน แล้วถ้ารำคาญเรื่องกลิ่น เลือกสูตรอ่อนๆ หรือทาเฉพาะผิวที่อยู่นอกผ้าห่มก็พอ 4) ปิดช่องเข้าห้องให้สนิท เช็กมุ้งลวด ขอบประตู ช่องแอร์/ช่องระบายอากาศ ถ้ามีรูเล็กๆ ยุงก็เล็ดรอดเข้ามาได้ การอุดรอยรั่วเล็กๆ นี่ช่วยลดจำนวนยุงในห้องแบบถาวรกว่าวิธีไล่รายคืน 5) ตัดวงจรตั้งแต่ต้นทาง: น้ำขัง ถ้าบ้านมีจานรองกระถาง แจกัน ถังน้ำ หรือรางน้ำขัง ต่อให้ไล่ในห้องดีแค่ไหน ยุงก็เกิดใหม่เรื่อยๆ ลองเดินสำรวจรอบบ้านสัปดาห์ละครั้งแล้วเทน้ำทิ้ง จะลดปัญหาได้ชัด ถ้าคืนไหนเจอหนักๆ ฉันจะใช้ “พัดลม + มุ้ง” คู่กัน หลับสบายสุด และตื่นมาไม่ต้องหงุดหงิดกับเสียงยุงข้างหูอีก ใครมีวิธีแปลกๆ แบบมีมยุงข้างหูที่ทำแล้วเวิร์ก ลองแชร์ไว้ได้เลย เผื่อช่วยคนอื่นได้เหมือนกัน
