🧠 MENTAL HEALTH MATTERS

Let’s normalize mental health 🧠❤️🚀

https://codeofascension.com/why-affirmations-fail/

6/20 Edited to

... Read moreIn my journey towards better mental health, I've realized that simply repeating affirmations isn’t always the magic solution people expect. While affirmations can be powerful, their effectiveness depends heavily on how they resonate with your subconscious beliefs. For instance, if you struggle to believe the words you repeat, it can feel inauthentic and useless. This is why understanding the root of your thoughts and emotions is key to making affirmations work. Another crucial aspect is normalization of mental health conversations. Just like physical health, mental health requires regular attention and compassion without stigma or shame. By openly discussing our mental struggles and strategies, we create a supportive community that encourages healing and growth. From my experience, combining mindfulness, therapy, and self-compassion practices with targeted affirmations has been transformative. Also, it’s important to recognize that mental health maintenance is a continuous process. Ongoing self-reflection and adopting habits that promote emotional resilience make a significant difference. Resources such as Code of Ascension emphasize this holistic approach, recognizing that mental health matters deeply and deserves inclusion in everyday dialogue. Ultimately, integrating affirmations with deeper self-awareness and community support can create more meaningful mental health improvements. Normalizing these practices contributes to a healthier, more empathetic society where everyone feels empowered to thrive mentally and emotionally.
