We were stuck for an hour because of fallen trees

First time we encounter this strong gusty wind and heavy rain during dinner celebrating my father birthday on Mid Autumn Festival.

We take it for granted at first thinking it wont rain until i saw the dark clouds and rains coming from The Reflections. Quickly ran into indoor and luckily no one is hurt.

The Abora Restaurant is so nice to give us a 10% off and apologies to us due to the disaster which is not their fault actually. Arbora @ Mount Faber Peak

The dark clouds rolling in from The Reflections signaled the approaching storm, and we quickly moved indoors—thankfully without any injuries. Being stuck for an hour due to fallen trees blocked access only added to the adventure of the evening. It reminded me how nature’s forces can change plans instantly, making us appreciate safety and shelter even more. I really admire how Arbora @ Mount Faber Peak handled the situation—offering a 10% discount and expressing genuine concern to all guests during this unexpected disruption. For anyone planning to celebrate the Mid-Autumn Festival or any outdoor event, it’s good to prepare for unpredictable weather by checking forecasts and having a backup plan. The festival itself, rich with tradition and family gatherings, is all the more memorable when shared amidst such surprising moments. This experience at Mount Faber gave me a new perspective on appreciating the beauty and challenges of celebrating under the open sky during this special time.
