Sneaker Culture is Very Big in Tokyo Japan
Never have I seen as many limited edition sneakers being worn around town as I saw in Tokyo, Japan.
Much of the youth wear North Face jackets, but they are all Supreme collab North Face jackets.
Go to the Harajuku district of Tokyo to really see how big streetwear is in Japan. There you will find many shops catering to all the latest street fashions. I found the prices (of Jordans) to be much more than what we pay in the U.S. But this is also true in Latin America, so not surprising.
I was surprised to see items hanging in the Supreme store that were sold out in the U.S. I’ve also seen this in Latin America where you can walk into a sneaker store and see limited edition sneakers that are sold out in the states sitting on shelves.
