Tokyo Landmarks That You Must Visit Before You Die

1. Shinjuku Station: the busiest train station in the world. Avoid if you are agoraphobic.

2. Kabukicho: entertainment district in Shinjuku City. You will find adult arcades, Japanese steakhouses, clubs, cafes, karaoke bars and more!

3. Izakaya bars: informal drinking holes perfect to soak up the atmosphere. Enjoy a bowl of noodles, highball whiskey, sake, or draft with edamame!

4. Shibuya Crossing: the busiest intersection in the world, featured in movies and TV.

5. Japanese steakhouses: don’t leave Tokyo with trying the wagyu beef!

6. Sushi restaurants: no exaggeration, Tokyo has the best tasting sushi I’ve ever had. Usually not a fan of sushi unless it’s fried like volcano rolls, but there’s something about the way they serve it that improves the texture and makes the “raw” sushi taste amazing!

7. Senso-ji Temple: the oldest temple in Tokyo. Plenty of culture to absorb and small shops in the area.

8. Hie Shrine: hidden away from the street, the red torii gate tunnels are the perfect backdrop for photos.
