Nails always have dirt

I love how my fake nails look but I swear… dirt always gets trapped inside. Like literally just typing or touching anything and boom—it’s stuck under there. It’s embarrassing and annoying and makes me wanna rip them off every time 😭

How do y’all keep them clean?? Is there a secret I’m missing or is this just the price of cute nails??

... Read moreMaintaining the cleanliness of fake nails can be quite a challenge, but it's essential for both aesthetics and hygiene. One main concern many face is the dirt that often accumulates underneath the nails, which can be particularly visible after everyday activities like typing or handling items. To combat this issue, consider implementing some effective cleaning strategies. First, make it a habit to regularly clean your nails with a small brush designed for nail art or cleaning under nails. These brushes can reach the areas where dirt tends to hide. Additionally, soaking your nails in warm soapy water can help loosen any trapped debris, making it easier to clean. It's also important to maintain your nail health by giving them breaks from wearing fake nails, allowing your natural nails some breathing room and reducing any accumulated debris over time. Besides the physical cleaning, consider the materials of your fake nails; some types may be more prone to trapping dirt than others. Researching and choosing high-quality products can save you from frequent cleaning struggles. Lastly, don't hesitate to engage with communities or forums dedicated to beauty care, just like the hashtags you've included. Others often share their successful methods for keeping their nails looking their best. So, let's connect and share tips to help each other out! Remember, while cute nails might come with some upkeep, finding successful strategies can make all the difference.

Use your nails to clean under your nails and wash your hands. I mean that’s what I suggest. I don’t get THAT much dirt under my nails, it might be your environment that’s the issue. Not saying your place is dirty. My bedroom is literally just a pile of piles rn so I can’t talk about anything (no trash tho). I mean I wash my hands between every task so maybe that’s why. And also my fingers are fat so it blocks a lot of dirt and the nails I get (as well as my natural nails) don’t have any grit to hold the dirt up that high.

GUYS. Her nails have sticky stuff on the back which obviously easily picks up dirt, trust me ik. For all of you guys saying “that should never happen” you guys are wearing glue ons without the stick at the top. (That’s what I started doing to prevent this) obviously dirt isn’t gonna stick to them if there is nothing for it to stick to.
