How sensitive are you?

... Read moreSensitivity is often misunderstood as a weakness, but in reality, it is a remarkable strength that allows us to connect deeply with ourselves and others. Appreciating beauty truly requires sensitivity—a delicate openness to the world around us. This vulnerability enables us to perceive subtleties in art, nature, and human emotions that many might overlook. In today’s fast-paced, materialistic society, sensitivity is sometimes seen as a liability or something to be suppressed. However, denying our emotional needs can disconnect us from what makes life meaningful. Embracing sensitivity means acknowledging our feelings, appreciating beauty, and valuing gentleness in ourselves and others. It provides a counterbalance to utilitarianism, helping us cherish simple pleasures and authentic experiences beyond mere practicality. Moreover, sensitivity fosters empathy, allowing us to understand and share the feelings of those around us. This compassionate connection is crucial for healthy relationships, both personal and communal. By recognizing sensitivity as a strength, we create supportive environments where emotional expression is welcomed, not dismissed. Practically, cultivating sensitivity can involve engaging in creative pursuits like the arts, spending reflective time in nature, or simply allowing ourselves to feel deeply without judgment. These practices refresh our emotional well-being and inspire a richer, more fulfilling life. Ultimately, sensitivity is not about being fragile but about having a soft heart that embraces vulnerability and gentleness. In doing so, we contribute to a world that not only tolerates but celebrates emotional depth and human connection. So, ask yourself—how sensitive are you, and how might embracing that sensitivity transform your experience of life?

Am I Being Too Sensitive?
Okay, I need some perspective here because I honestly don’t know if I’m overreacting. My husband has this habit when he’s explaining something: he stops mid-conversation, asks a rhetorical or subjective question, waits for your answer, and then immediately gives his own answer as the “correct” one.

Some people may not understand your sensitivity ✨
And that’s okay!!! Highly sensitive people makeup about 20% of the population, which means the majority of people have a completely different experience than we do! Instead of wasting time trying to convince others of our experiences and make them get it…. A better much use of time (in m

Are you highly sensitive to energy?
Being highly sensitive to energy can be overwhelming AF. There’s so many ways to be energetically protecting ourself. One basic way is putting yourself in a gold bubble, pushing it out far, and setting the intent to pull your aura and energy field inside the bubble. I used to get insane

Have you ever been called too sensitive?
I used to think my emotions were something to fix. But therapy taught me they were actually signals guiding me toward what I needed. Now when I feel too much, I pause instead of judging myself. 🩷 I breathe, write what I feel, and remind myself: this sensitivity is my strength. If you’ve ever be
