Let go of anxiety

Our days are filled work to do lists and pressures that can easily cause us to feel anxious. We all have different triggers or causes yet there are many ways to get rid of anxiety. Here are a few that have helped me.

-practicing wellness habits that bring me peace such as journaling, long walks, having time alone, eating breakfast before coffee. - once you have been able to pin point what can be causing your anxiety if possible take a break from it. There are endless things that can cause yet so not overthink about it.

-have someone you can share your emotions and feeling with. A therapist, a friend. It’s important to get it out.

... Read moreAnxiety is a common feeling that many people experience, often triggered by our hectic lifestyles and overwhelming responsibilities. It’s essential to understand that everyone has unique triggers and that finding ways to cope is crucial for mental well-being. One effective approach to managing anxiety involves adopting specific wellness habits that can significantly diminish stress levels. For instance, practices such as journaling provide a therapeutic outlet for expressing thoughts and feelings, helping to slow down racing thoughts. Additionally, engaging in physical activities such as long walks in nature can be incredibly grounding and calming. It’s also beneficial to ensure you start your day right—consider having breakfast before reaching for that morning coffee. This simple change can help stabilize your mood and energy levels. Moreover, identifying your triggers is a vital step. If it’s possible, take short breaks from stressful situations or environments that induce anxiety. Overthinking about the cause of anxiety is common, but finding moments of stillness can be liberating. Finally, having someone to share your feelings with, whether it’s a therapist or a trusted friend, plays a significant role in alleviating emotional weight. Talking it out helps release bottled emotions and fosters a sense of connection and understanding. By implementing these strategies, you can significantly reduce anxiety and enhance your overall quality of life.
