I'm trying to recover from those bad thought's

2025/5/27 Edited to

... Read moreIntrusive thoughts are a common experience for many individuals, often manifesting as unwanted and distressing mental images or ideas. Understanding their nature is crucial for managing them effectively. Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) is one of the most effective treatments for intrusive thoughts, helping individuals to reshape their thought patterns and reduce anxiety. Practicing mindfulness and meditation can also be beneficial, providing techniques to center the mind and focus on the present. Support from friends, family, or professional counselors can make a significant difference, offering reassurance and a safe space to express feelings. In addition, joining support groups can help individuals feel less isolated in their experiences, fostering a sense of community and shared understanding. If you or someone you know is struggling with intrusive thoughts, it’s important to seek help and remember that recovery is a journey that takes time. Engaging with trusted resources and mental health professionals can provide the necessary support to navigate this challenging experience.

hey girl!! I'm in the same boat as you and I just wanted to remind you that we are not our intrusive thoughts. Those thoughts come from anxieties and worries. What helps me the most is meditation and labeling my intrusive thoughts as intrusive thoughts. I'm also looking to get treated for those intrusive thoughts, so I would recommend that as well!!
