I couldn’t take it no more. 😂
Y'all won. I relaxed my hair yesterday.
Deciding to relax natural hair is a significant choice for many, often influenced by personal lifestyle, hair health, and desired look. As someone who has embraced natural hair for a long time, I can relate to the mix of emotions that come with transitioning to relaxed hair. I found that relaxation gave me a break from the daily care routine needed for natural curls, which can be time-consuming and sometimes frustrating. Relaxing hair doesn't mean giving up on natural hair health; it can be part of a balanced hair care regimen. After relaxing, I noticed my hair was easier to manage for styling and felt smoother, which was a relief on busy days. However, I was mindful about using deep conditioning treatments and avoiding harsh chemicals to keep my hair strong and healthy. For those considering relaxing natural hair, it’s important to research the process and pick a reputable stylist who understands how to maintain hair integrity. Post-relaxer care is crucial—regular moisturizing, gentle handling, and protective styling can help maintain hair health. Ultimately, hair choices are personal, and what works for one may not work for another. Sharing experiences like these can support others in their hair journeys, reminding us that it's all about feeling confident and comfortable in our own hair. Whether natural or relaxed, embracing your hair is what truly shines through.

I would recommend to stop relaxing your hair …I’ve seen ppl hair with long hair only to continuously relaxing their hair over the years to see that their hair get thinner and thinner
