BEST TOUR IN HCM! | Cu Chi Tunnels & Mekong Delta👒

back w another Ho Chi Minh recco! 🇻🇳🇻🇳

i really wanted to visit the famous Cu Chi Tunnels at HCM and i found an AMAZING deal on Klook so u don’t have to🤣🤣 for $63 per pax, here’s was our day’s itinerary:

6.30am: pick up from hotel (within district 1 only)

stop 1 - 8.30am: the art factory where the pieces are all hand made by Agent Orange victims 🥹 if you didn’t know, Agent Orange is a toxic chemical used by the US military during the Vietnam war that causes congenital (birth) disorders when exposed. it’s so incredible that they get an opportunity to work and do amazing things despite everything they went through :”)

stop 2 - 10.30am: cu chi tunnels! it was v insightful and i rly enjoyed learning about the Vietnam war and how they lived in the tunnels and how they made weapons! and then we took a boat to our next stop🛶

stop 3 - 12.30pm: lunch.. it was pretty mid but i think kind of expected HAHA

stop 4 - 2pm: tried their local honey and bought a bottle home because it was so good🍯🍯

stop 5 - 3pm: went to a small village where we had fruits and some locals sang for us 😆

stop 6 - 4pm: mekong delta river!! they gave us lil hats which were so cute and great for pics :-) this was def a highlight!

6.30pm: back to hotel 🏩

💰 $63/pax

⭐️ overall, i’d rate this a 10/10 because the whole tour was soooo enjoyable! our tour guide was so hyped the entire time and constantly made jokes and gave us fun facts of HCM🤣🤣 they also gave us water and snacks and a whole coconut at the end of the trip which i thought was really nice of them :”) we were also pretty lucky that day as it was pretty cloudy so it wasn’t too hot! and i think for $63, it was soooo worth it👍

Save this for your next trip to HCM!!!

... Read moreIf you're planning a visit to the Cu Chi Tunnels and Mekong Delta, here are some insider tips to make your experience even better. First, try to book your tour early through platforms like Klook to snag the best deals—as I did, paying only $63 per person for an all-day small group tour. During the Cu Chi Tunnel visit, wear comfortable shoes and lightweight clothing since you’ll be exploring underground passageways where the temperature can be quite different from outside. The tunnels are a remarkable reminder of the resilience and ingenuity during the Vietnam War. At the Mekong Delta, don’t miss the chance to enjoy local honey and interact with villagers who often share songs and stories, providing a heartwarming cultural exchange. Bringing a camera is a must, especially since the little conical hats provided make for charming photos on the riverboat. Lastly, remember that meal quality can vary, so consider bringing some snacks if you’re picky. The tour guides typically provide water, snacks, and even a fresh coconut, which adds a nice touch to the experience. Overall, this tour is a fantastic way to immerse yourself in Vietnam’s history and natural beauty in one convenient package.
