Ok Demon Slayer x Sushi Tei is TOO CUTE
When I heard about the Demon Slayer was coming to Sushi Tei, I figured it was just merch + food, like when there was Genshin x Sushiro or Spy x Family x Aburi En
But Sushi Tei really went ALL OUT for this. The whole shop is filled with cut outs and standees, and they even decorated the booths with decals!! I even saw some of the staff were in the demon slayer outfits and there was even a Nezuko cosplayer the day that we went to promote the event! Really this amount of prep was beyond my expectations.
Food was also good! Not all my family follows the series but nearly everyone ordered something from the special menu cause it sounded good. My sis and mum got the beef bento and unagi maki respectively and they LOVED their dishes. I also really liked the tonkatsu - it was juicy - but I was surprised it was a la carte and not part of a set. The simmered daikon was delicious, really liked that one.
Honestly, one of the best anime and food collabs that I’ve seen so far. It’s on till Jan 12, 2025 and my family likes Sushi Tei so I guess I’ll be able to try the other items on the menu

If you’re planning to visit, I recommend going on a weekday or early hours to fully enjoy the decorated booths and snap photos with the standees without the weekend rush. And since the event lasts until January 12, 2025, there’s plenty of time to return and try different menu items.
