I learned To Breathe

20 hours agoEdited to

... Read moreSharing my personal experience with adopting a kitten, I can truly relate to the message that "You changed everything. You gave me a reason. You gave me peace. You gave me me." Before finding my little feline friend, I struggled with anxiety and often felt overwhelmed. The presence of my kitten gently reminded me to pause and focus on the simple act of breathing, grounding myself in the present moment. Caring for a kitten requires mindfulness—watching them explore the world, noticing their playful curiosity, and feeling the warmth of their companionship. These moments naturally encouraged me to slow down and appreciate life’s small joys. Over time, I noticed a significant improvement in my emotional resilience and a deeper sense of peace. If you’re feeling lost or disconnected, I highly recommend considering pet adoption. Beyond the joy and love they bring, pets can be catalysts for healing and growth. Remember, learning to breathe isn’t just about oxygen—it’s about reclaiming calm and finding yourself again through love and presence.

Learning to breathe properly (yes, really!)
I started mouth taping when I slept about 4 years ago. I remember the very first time, I was on a roadtrip with a friend who did it and she convinced me one night to try it out! It felt a bit uncomfortable at first, but that’s because I was really used to breathing out of my mouth and not my nose.
